What is the Rotissere??

Is it part of the buffet? Is it seperate resturaunt? If so, do they charge extra?
What kind of food do they serve?
I'm looking at pics of the Splendor, it looks like the buffet is kinda two levels, can anyone verify this?

None of this is important, it's just fun to talk about.

The Rotisserie is upstairs upper level above buffet. They have roasted chickens spinning on a cooker and offer salads. There are a limited number of other food items but I can't remember what although I do remember it was very good and there were healthy choices available.
There is no extra cost. This is a great place to go at the beginning of the cruise before everyone finds it. 8)

The Rotssiere just replaced the old Fish and Chips on the Conquest class ships.....

Personally I wish they would replace all the fish and chips with the Rotisierre. It looks much better than the greasy fish.

Liberty still has the Fish and Chips, like the rest of the Conquest class.

Hopefully the Dream will have the Rotisierre.

I, for one, am sad that there was no fish and chips on Splendor and wish they would bring back. Similar to fish n chips, pizzeria, and deli, the rotisserie never varies the menu.

Looks like I mixed Asian and Chicken that day. I didn't care for the mac and cheese.

On Spirit class ships, the Rotisserie is a different animal and the food does change daily.

Wow, I got really excited, darn it... then someone says.. what about Splendor??
I thought those were menus from the Splendor

So, are you telling me the big brand new hot off the docks... Splendor doesn't change the menu at the rotisserie? That's not right....

But again.. Not important, plenty of food choices.. and plenty other wonderful things to par take in, such as ... Casino, theropy pool, bars, bars and did I mention... bars?

Ferrangi those are pictures of Splendor. I went to zydecocruiser's website it's pretty cool. Anyway zydecocruiser has been on the Splendor twice already and has pictures of the whole ship. I will PM you the website, cause I'm not sure I'm allow to post it here.

Not sure of the exact location other than somewhere on the Lido.

There are indeed two hot tubs in the center of the ship on deck 10 that are surrounded by tables and chairs. I though it was a little strange.

They are 1 deck up from the center pool

The two hot tubs inside were very seldom used on our 49 day trip on the Splendor and were perfect for rainy days which I hope you never have.The most popular ones are the two on the rear of the ship however they are for adults only and this was enforced very nicely.The one by the slide is another one without a lot of use most of the time.

I don't believe I will need any other hot tub.. since I don't enjoy hot tubs that much... because they are sooo hot...

I will enjoy most of my tub time in the theropy pool where it's very close to our cabin (spa cabin) and it comes free with our cabin. It's also only about 95 degrees vs the 105 in a hot tub. (at least that's what I read somewhere)
My sis on the other hand, loves the heat in the hot tub....

Many hot tubs on Carnival (and other cruise lines) are often lukewarm at best.

There is a huge difference in demographics between the SA cruise (I was on the middle leg) and a Mexican Riviera cruise.

The Dream will not have the rotisserie instead they are having a pasta bar where you can order your pasta any way you want. It was stated in one of the videos at the Carnival Dream web sight.

MMMM that sounds dee-lish! I'd rather have that than the burrito bar... but that's okay, something to look forward if/when I book on the dream...

Dream will have both pasta and burrito.

On Carnival Spirit, a mini-pasta bar shared space with the pizzeria. It sounds like Carnival Dream will a larger selection.

I'll find out for sure what eats Carnival Dream has in about 50 days!

Carnival Splendor has other options including Mongolian Wok and a Tandori station, which Carnival Dream will also have.

Just off "Glory", and it still has "Fish-n-Chips". Also the hot tub,,,at least the adult hot tubs at the aft pool area are indeed HOT. At least 102, if not 105 degrees. Frankly, that's exactly the way I like 'em.
