Where can I find a packing list at, of what to take on a cruise?

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet you can use to list all items to do or to pack and the dates that thinigs should be done by, etc. as well as an itinerary worksheet, that I have been emailing everyone. PM me with your email address and I'll send it to you.

You can also do a search on this web site for packing lists. There are items that I never even thought about bringing on a cruise until after my first voyage, i.e., mutiple outlet adapter (there is only one outlet in the room), Downy Wrinkle Releaser (works like a charm), small cotton backpack (small and easy to pack but holds tons of stuff), etc. The cruise ships have a very small area in their souvenir store for sundries and is very expensive so make sure you bring your own film, batteries, Pepto, pain reliever, Tums, hair spray, etc.

I'll bet if you did a search right here on cruisemates, you would find many lists of what to bring & what NOT to bring.

One additional item that I wished I had on my cruise last week that wasn't on any list is an extension cord. I need a sleep apnea machine to sleep. The one plug was on the opposite end of the room from the head of the bed. Luckily, between the length of the cord for the apnea machine and the length of the air hose, it was just about long enough for me to lay in the bed normally w/o having to reverse directions.

Another option would have been to rearrange the direction of the bed within the room.

If you are the type that need special machines to sleep, you might want to consider a 6 feet extension cord.

A good site that I use is called cruise diva dot com. They have packing lists for men, women and children.
