If you have a souvenier glass, from a previous cruise, can you bring it on another cruise and use it to purchase the Drink of the Day or another beverage? Would it matter what color it is?

Thanks for any info.

You can certainly bring the cups, but the price for the drinks will be the same. I personally would not waste the packing space. I do have one of the Carnival insulated cups for sodas that I take.

Yes, you can bring one of the yellow, pink, or clear plastic cups from a previous carnival cruise and use it. Keep it handy and keep refilling it. It takes up too much space. One hint, remember to pack in the carry-on when you board the ship cuz if you want a DOD and the cup is in your suitcase, well, you'll be buying another plastic cup.....

The only ones we saved are the glass ones.
Not gonna risk packing those.

Default Drink of the day plastic cups

yes, I always bring mine; and, yes, I keep packing it in my luggage, and, yes, that means that I have to buy another one.

We bring one of ours. I just went on a Jersey Girl reunion cruise and one of the girls took a glass with her. The bartenders all filled it and all of them said where did you get this glass? It was from a cruise she took in 1989. It was shaped different than the ones they give you now and it was glass not plastic. She had no trouble getting it filled with a drink either.

Yeah I remember those drinks that came in jelly jar type glasses. I really liked those. They were worth taking home. The plastic ones are crap and every cruise I see people leaving them behind. You can find a half dozen to take home with you just by looking around. Glass is too expensive I guess but it was worth the purchase price to me.
