Mailing docs?

Is Carnival still mailing documents or do you have to print them online now?

Carnival has said for those without to get a friend to print for them. Now if you booked with a regular TA they can do it for you.

Printing them is fine but the luggage tags will suck unless you do a lamination job on them or something. Regular copy paper tags will shred as soon as some idiot porter puts his claws on them. Thats the only bad thing about not having paper docs mailed.

I just put the luggage tags on and then wrap with clear packaging tape. I think the handles will break before the gorillas can pull those tags off.

There are lots of young folks with minimal to no computer skills.

I think eventually the world may see the error of their ways.

Airlines, cruise lines, and many more come to a complete halt if their computers are unavailable. They have forgotten how to function without them.

I imagine the Internet will sooner or later become much more of a terrorist target.

The actual truth is, you can get docs mailed to you, there is just a service fee from Carnival for doing so. It is $25 Per Person.

Just ask a friend to print them, much easier unless you do not care about spending a few extra bucks. But keep in mind, even if you get them printed, they are still using pre printed luggage tags, the days of the cute effective tags are over. I usually put a tag on each handle of my luggage so that way if one falls off, there is a second as backup.
