Heather and I just booked a New Years Eve cruise for next year. What kind of activities do they have that night? Champagne toast?
Also do you have any good New Years Eve at sea stories? We would love to hear some. Thanks.

Yep, that's exactly what we had on the Century a couple of years ago. GREAT time to cruise, and we really enjoyed the festivities aboard for New Years Eve. They had a big ice carving of the outgoing year, and at midnight they hit it with a big hammer and busted it all to hell,,,then brought out the new one. Free champagne for all, and they kept it flowing. I'd highly recommend cruising for New Years Eve.
New years eve is the best time to be on a cruise ship.
We were on the Carnival Liberty to ring in 2008. We had such a great time that I plan to do another new years eve cruise someday.
On new years eve everyone was very well dressed for the ocasion. There many young adults, but it was a mixed crowd. People of all ages were having an exciting and fun party. There was a lot of champagne ( I certainly had my share ).
The crew were also into it and waiters and cabin attendants were all coming around wishing us Happy New Year !
Celebrating new years eve under the stars in the warm Caribbean is something that we really enjoyed and will allways remember.
