Do you like Freeport ?

What do you think of Freeport, in the Bahamas ?

Now, Freeport was not my cuppa tea....once we were there on Witt Monday, a floating holiday, and everything was closed..Since tips are included in the restaurant tabs..service was slow and a bit surly....

Let the cruise lines continue using as dry dock and this port could be skipped and spend more time at Half Moon Bay.

I don't really know why the ships stop at this port, I would much rather go to HMC or even spend the night in Nassau or even go to Key West.

I didn't even bother getting off the ship. It makes for a great stay-on-the ship day.

Well, back in 1999 I took my first trip ever out of the U.S. it was not a cruise but an All Inclusive vac to the Princess Resort in Freeport. I had the time of my life and they had a bar call the John B Bar, man that place was jumping!!! They tore it down to rebuild so I could'nt tell you what the island is like now. Never been back!!!

We were in Freeport while sailing on the Conquest in April. We loved our excursion, Kayaking and beach. We did the excursion through Carnival and highly recommend it.

I love Freeport. Have been there three times. The locals and police say the crime rate is nill. The only problem we had was the people ask you constantly if you need plkans for the evening,hair braided buy jewelry etc. The island is beautifull. Go to the piort where private yachts come in to eat dinner.Great inexpensive restaurants there.Great scenery in that area also. Have a good time

Haven't been there in years. My guess is it still beats a dreary,rainy,central PA fall afternoon.

It was only ok, but if you have never been there then get off the ship and check it out. For me once was enough. I'm glad I can say I was there.

Been there done that got off said we were her for the second time . went back to the boat and relaxed, matter of fact we took a long nap i under stand it 10 miles to town.The last time we took the dolphin excursion and we got kissed by a dolphin .
