Default Mexican Riviera ship time

Looking forward to our cruise on Splendor and thinking about time zones. The ship leaves from Long Beach (PDT) and stops in Puerto Vallerta, Maxatlan and Cabo San Lucas (all MDT). The ship stays PDT, si?

All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; John Masefield

Not necessarily. I have done Mexican Riviera many times and gotten really annoyed because we had to set clocks either forward or back almost every night of the cruise. I don't know if they may have changed that in recent years. But, every port was a different time zone. Seemed odd to me, but we did what they said to do. Purser said it was because people could not keep track of real ship's time unless they made us change. Might be true!

Nope, we just got back and the only changed the clock once, I think the night before we arrived in Puerto vallerta and then we didn't change it back until after we left cabo....

I think we moved it forward (lost 1 hrs) then back and gained 1 hr.
