Default 3 day cruise

I know the Sensation and Imagination are identical ships and the same itinerary but is one better than the other for a weekend cruise? We are a group of singles and will be flying in.

They are pretty much the same. Sensation has the added balcony rooms if you are thinking of a balcony. I don't think Imagination does. One thing you might want to consider is cost of airfare to MIA or MCO and transportation to the ship will be more expensive for Sensation. 8)

How soon are you thinking about going? I am leaving for a 4-day cruise on the Imagination in less than a month and can certainly let you know how the ship is once I am back on land. I am combining my cruise with a 3 day stay in Miami, so that I might enjoy the Halloween festivities in Miami.

Didn’t know those two ships were identical. Is there a ship that’s identical to the Inspiration?

We aren't going until January so I will look forward to hear how your trip was. Have fun!

If you're flying in anyway, I'd suggest "Inspiration" out of Tampa. Easier airport to get around in, easier port to board, and disembark in, less expensive hotels to stay in before and after the cruise, GREAT crew and ship which has already been through "refit", so it's nice and fresh, and IMO just a better overall experience.

Also, you should consider itinerary, unless both cruises are virtually identical.

I don't think the Elation has been through dry dock. All these ships are Fantasy class ships, but some have been through dry dock and recieved the "Evolutions of fun." These ships are different than the Fantasy class ships waiting for dry dock. All the Fantasy class ship are the same size and general layout.

Only Sensation, Fantasy, Imagination, and Inspiration have received the Evolutions of fun upgrades so far.
