even if you didn't get sea sick while actually ON the boat, it is probably your body readjusting to being on land ... the equilibrium and everything. It is actually quite common is my understanding.

Well you two kids must have been party animals! Seriously, that stinks. Hope the two of you enjoyed your trip and you have a speedy recovery.
A least it waited until after the cruise was over. Feel better.

I don't even need the aspirin. Booking another cruise does it for me.

I do hope you feel better.

It took me 2 weeks to finally stop feeling the "boat" rock after I got home.

Back in April I became sick after my cruise. My co-workers assumed I had the swine flu since I had been to Mexico.
I do get cruise withdrawal blues which are alleviated by booking that next cruise vacation.
The ship used to continue to rock after disembarkation. Dramamine cured that.

50 cruises, only sickness is that the cruise is over! Maybe a little residual "bottle flu!"

I think my biggest reason for getting sick a couple of years ago following a fall cruise (and a gf traveling with us) - being on the ship, outside in hot weather, come inside to a freezing cold ship, outside, inside, etc. By the last night of the cruise me and my gf were wearing our sweats zipped up to our necks at night time. They keep the ships colder in the fall it seems to keep the germs down. Don't forget to wash your hands and carry hand sanitizer and sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue! I have a friend who cruised last May who actually called her doctor for a z-pack prescription just in case she got sick while cruising and he gave it to her.

I always get sick before the cruise. I usually cruise in the end of Sept or sometime in Oct and I always get sick in the beginning of Sept. I got sick this past Sept. It's wierd but never got sick after the cruise.

You know its funny but I have a couple of people that I work with that always seem to get sick just before a cruise. I wonder if having more sick time on the books than vacation time has anything to do with it. With only a few days to go for our next cruise I think that I am starting to get a little sick also.

I have caught colds, even regular old flu on cruises, simply due to exposure to so many people from so many different places. I started carrying hand sanitizer in my purse and using it before I are anything. Have not caught a bug ona cruise since then. Quick, where is some wood to knock on?
Hubby, on the other hand, still comes home with a foreign traveler almost every time. This year, I'm pouring that sanitizer over his hands!!!
