Default Carnival Miracle to Bermuda

Has any one tried this cruise?
Goes from New York port to Bermuda stays there for three
days then returns. Its a six day cruise..
Only goes there I guess once a year.
Thinking about taking this one would like any input
you have.

Thanks Sammy 1954

I loved Bermuda. Went on Rccl from Port Liberty N.J. Next time it will be Carnival. The island is very friendly to tourists, however things are not cheap. you can get a three day transportation pass good for bus and water taxis, for about $10.00 a day ,take as many trips as you like. The island is only 21 miles long so you will be able to see most of it. Don't miss Hamilton and St. George. You can go to the Bermuda travel site and get lots of information and helpful tips. Enjoy your cruise.

Is it worth the overnight stop? What is there to do?

There are many beaches to explore during the day. Historic sites are all over the island, most of these from the British colonial period. Snorkeling and scuba are available. At night the local artists and craftsmen presented local traditional dancing and a sort of street fair. Of course there are pubs and bars if you like. The late night life is subdued though, not like the Caribbean Islands. And of course there is always shopping and just plain site seeing. The pink sand beaches are famous the world over. And one pub in particular was featured on a segment of Rachael Raye, the "Hog Penny" in Hamilton, a traditional English style pub.
