We're on a June cruise with the kids (ages 9 and 6) and our stop in San Juan is from 5:00-midnight. Any suggestions on a shore trip at that time with kids other than Old Town?
Not alot for the kids on this stop. The forts close early and the casinos won't let them in. I suggest checking shore excursions offered by the ship.
I normally don't use them but in this case I'd check to see what they have.
A historic city tour might be available, or a sunset sailaway ??

This late stop really is not child friendy, unlike porting there during the day...If you do decide to use a sitter, you could head over to the El San Juan, hotel for a show and casino, BUT, you could do that on the ship for free....maybe jusst treat this like a day at sea....
We were just there, and, had early docking, which is just so much better. We were able to take a tour that took us to a couple of different...place we had not been to on previous tours.
Years back, there was really no late docking here, and I don't get why things changed, but, I know many who wish it would change back..good luck.
