Extended balconies on front and back?

Hi,
I'm looking to take Carnival Legend on Nov 29 and want to book something today. I have one extended balcony available #8450 (think its on the back). I was told balconies or rooms in the center on either sides of the ship are the best.
Can someone advice as to how #8450 is? Pros and cons?

This is a GREAT cabin. Keep it.

I've had these aft balconies on Legend, Pride and Miracle and they are some of the best on the ship. There is no excessive noise or motion and the view is IMO the best on the ship plus you have a larger balcony than an port or starboard cabin.

Keep the cabin and enjoy.

If you are prone to motion sickness you might feel a little more movement in an aft cabin, but sailing Nov 29th you are right at the close of the official hurricane season and shouldn't have much weather. I'm with Mike, book it and enjoy the view.

And, yes that is the back of the ship

This is my first cruise ever and so being so cautious about everything but still i know i will meet with so many surprises (hopefully pleasant ones).
This is a Nov 29 West caribbean cruise on Legend.
Please provide some tips if you can.

Oh i'm so sorry I just realised it is Valor not Legend. Is the extended balcony still the same?

Pretty much so. You are under the lido deck. If I remember the layout of the Conquest ships correctly you might have have total privacy, but even if that is the case it is still a great cabin.

Im booked in an Aft cabin #7449 on the Glory Nov 14. When I get back Ill let you know how it was. Glory is the Valors sister ship

I was going to say that didn't look like a deck plan for the Legend, now I know why.

As others have said, it is a great sized balcony. However, keep in mind that you are under the aft pool area. You may hear some noise from the crew cleaning late at night or early in the morning (chairs scraping, etc.) I prefer to be between two passenger decks, to keep the noise down. But if you're looking for a large balcony, you can't do better than that,
