Feb weather in Bahamas

Any ideas on how cool it can be in the the Bahamas in early February? We are now starting to think and plan on what type of clothing we will need, both men and women.

We also are going in Feb 2010 and was wondering the same thing. We just got off the Sensation today Nov 1 and it was very hot there in Nassau.

My girlfriend experienced chilly weather at the end of jan/feb...I would make sure you have long pants and a sweatshirt, just in case....Being so close to Florida, in many cases when they get cool, the Bahamas do too...

Feb. is generally the coldest Month in the Bahamas... Nassau and Miami are about the same..

Thanks for the replies. I would have never packed a pair of long pants and brought a sweatshirt but now I will just in case.

Feb. is when Bahamians wear furs... really sweaters, long pants are the norm. You will see shorts and it can get uppers 80's... next day in the 50's... GBI is a bit colder.
