I love all the Spirit class ships and any one of them was my favorite until I sailed the Splendor.
Now I am usually not a big fan of any ship over 100,000 tons.....
BUT...the Spa cabins with the thalasso pool....and the fact that the Lido deck is 100% non smoking made up for the size for me.
Plus ...since it has the Conquest class set up musically .... I can be in karaoke...pop into the piano bar...listen to the cover band and be back in karaoke before my next song!!! Very Convenient!!!
COMPLETES THE FLEET
If it is Carnival and it floats....we have sailed it!
Hubby ... DIAMOND (every ship except the Carnivale)
Me ... DIAMOND (every ship starting with the Tropicale)
20 year old son ... DIAMOND (every ship starting with the Tropicale...he is the only DOUBLE Milestone under the age of 21)
24 year old son ... DIAMOND
Well only been on 2 Carnival ships so far but of the 2 liked the Valor much more than the Destiny. Maybe after Jan we will like the Legend better. But it does not have the large tv by the pool and that is a feature we really enjoy especially at night.

I would have to say the Liberty. My son was married on our 2007 cruise on the liberty. Carnival handled all of the details through their wedding planner. Everything was outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone planning on getting married while on a cruise. The Liberty will always be my favorite.

Carnival Spirit is my favorite. i do enjoy the Spirit class ships for ease of getting around. I also find the decor to be more elegant than other class ships.
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.“
In Jan we'll be on the Conquest for our third time, so far she's our favorite definately. However, in April we're going on the Legend and I've heard nothing but raves about her, many experienced Carnival cruisers have told us that she is their favorite, so our expectations are pretty high for that cruise.

Location: On the Lido deck of any ship taking shots of Kamakazi's with Partyanimal & Co.
So far mine has been the Victory. It was my first cruise ever and to have John Heald as your cruise director was the most memorable cruise ever!! The Pride is a close second. I might change my mind however because we are cruising the Conquest in January!!! :-D
they are all the same ! No, not quit.... but close.
6) Holiday ( now gone)
The Legend wins for no other reason than the dining room isn't hard to find. Triumph, Valor, & Destiny are all equal except for the decor. Valor a little too wild, Destiny a little too gray, so Triumph a happy medium.
Inspiration was nice, but I prefer the bigger & newer fun ships.
Holiday won't be missed by many. Not to say she wasn't a lot of fun, just she was a bit small and bumpy.
PAST TRIPS= Enchanted Capri
Carnival: Inspiration, Legend, Valor, Destiny, Holiday, Triumph, Splendor, Fantasy
HAL: Maasdam twice, Statendam, Oosterdam
I'd have to say the Destiny and the Victory. The Destiny was the 1st time we had a balcony. We had aft wraps on both ships ~ loved the gigantic balcony! The cabins were identical...down to the salmon color sofa.
I have only been on two so it's not much to compare. Out of the two ship CC Fantasy and RC Majesty of the Sea It would be hands down the Fantasy. I didn't care for the Majesty at all. I guess I would try RC again only a newer ship. In three weeks I will be on and getting ready to sail the Inspiration. I'll let you know if she steals my heart!
