We are cruising on the Splendor next month and I just read about a "Behind the Fun" tour on Carnival. Has anyone done it? Does Splendor offer it. I know it is $95 per person, but it is limited to 16 guests. Any info???
Other than to confirm your information you are correct. They offered the tour on the last sea day, and said it would go into engineering, backstage of the theater, the bridge and I believe the galley. Didn't take it or I'd tell you more.
All I ask is a tall ship and a star to steer her by; John Masefield

I read a review of that tour on "another site", and it seems like it'd really be good. It includes, as Bob said, tours of everything from the bridge, to backstage, to engineering, galley, and even briefly to "I-95" where the crew lives. His tour even included photos of the entire tour group, as well as a photo of him, with the captain. He said he'd do it again in a heartbeat, so book it now, as it fills up very, very quickly. (He booked it just as soon as he got aboard the ship, and the tour person was shocked that he knew about it. Seems they don't advertise it much.)
If you do it, be sure to tell us all about it when you return.
