Hands down the Carnival Miracle is my favorite. I prefer the layout of the Spirit-class ships and with the exception of the dining room, Miracle's decor is my fav among the Spirit-class ships I have sailed including Legend and Pride. Even the dining room tends to grow on you after a while and is much less nauseating since they "ripened" the grapes.

So far in my cruising life I liked The Legend the best. I thought the size and layout of the ship was perfect. In less than 99 days perhaps The Liberty will become my favorite Carnival ship. I can't wait to find out.

The Conquest is one of our favorites... however I will sail on any Carnival ship any chance I get....

Default Spirit class

Many seem to prefer the Spirit class ( Spirit, Legend, Pride, Miracle) .
Why? I guess in my case the dining room isn't difficult to access such as the case with the AFT dining rooms on the Destiny, Valor, or Triumph. Theses huge ships have a muddled labyrinth layout due to the placement of the galley.
The Legend's atrium with the glass floor at the top caught my eye.
Also that gorgeous wedding chapel was a winner....no no no I didn't *use* it ....just took a photo or two.

I would have to say the Splendor. My hubby loved the huge tv outside. I like the upstairs enclosed decks by the pool area with the hot tubs that looked over the ocean.

Triumph is a great ship. The crew and decor was wonderful and the rooms seemed bigger to us then the Valor. I would sail the triumph anytime.

We were thinking of sailing on the NCL Pearl....how did you like it and how does it compare to Carnival?

I would have to say the Victory...the best piano bar so far....was on her twice and loved it. I was on the Miracle two years ago....it was nice but not as much fun....but giving her another try in Nov. Hoping the piano bar will be better this time. As long as I'm sitting on a cruise ship deck and not in Ohio behind a desk its a good cruise!!!

Valor hands down~decor, layout service, staff, entertainment, food were all excellent, and it was one of the best times I'd ever had!

Destiny comes in a close second~for the same reasons above minus decor (a bit plain as was said before). And once again using my tagline for her~she wasn't the prettiest but she was the most fun!!!

Having been on all but 3 of the currently sailing ships (and we are sailing on those 3 this year) .... I would say the Legend WHEN it was sailing out of Tampa.

I have no scientific explanation, but the port a ship sails from (to me) effects the experience.

I like the Spirit class the best....although I do love the convenience of the Conquest and newer ships that have the karaoke, piano bar and cover band bar all in one spot.

I've only been on three cruises but I'd say the Pride (Spirit class). We're sailing on the Spirit this December. I like the layout. It makes more sense than the Fantasy class ships. But there will always be a special place in my heart for the Paradise because that was me and my girlfriend's first cruise and that's where we got bitten with the cruising bug.

Paradise was great when it was non-smoking. We could go anywhere on the ship we wanted without having breathing problems!

We don't get to experience the Dream until October but we have enjoyed everything from the Holiday to the Liberty.

By far, my personal favorite, is the Miracle. The layout makes it easy to get around because of the two-story aft dining room with no dining room mid-ships. That makes it possible to walk from one end of the ship to the other on every deck. Going up or down one or two floors because you happen to be on the dining deck can be a real pain.
