Default Aft "suites" with the wraparound balcony....

Is it worth the extra money to have this since they jacked up the price? We thought about doing it last year and decided against it. I feel like I would love to have the space, but I just don't know if it's worth the extra cost. We're looking to book on the Liberty. Thanks!

I personally love the aft wraparound cabins but it's really up to you to decide if they are worth the extra money.

The extra room and wonderfully large balcony are nice but you can still have just as good of a time in a smaller balcony cabin.

Take care,
Mike

I would again in a heartbeat.

Just hope you don't have alot of rain and wind, the balcony become worthless, no roof. We also had a black soot on the Freedom last year and the Liberty last week, what a mess. It was cleaned up, but notafter we had it on our cloath and carpet. We had 3 days we could use the balcony last week. We are back to a side cabin with a roof from now on. Good luck to the people that get the corner cabins.

I love them!!! The cabin is larger and the balcony is fantastic. You should think about how much time you usually spend on your balcony to decide if it is worth the extra expense. We are only sorry that they are now considered suites and quite a bit more expensive.

Since they are now suites do you get the VIP status?

I cruised on the Cat 11 (suite) wrap around on the Spirit and loved it! It was an Alaskan cruise so we weren't out there taking in the sun but it made for amazing views! We even met a few other people and had a little cocktail party on the balcony great time! We didn't see any other perks to having the suite besides a faster check-in. But we typically go early and didn't notice a difference really.

The way I usually weigh it is by taking the additional cost divided by the number of days you're cruising and asking if that's worth it to you per day. WARNING: once you have the wrap around, its hard to go back to anything else! You certainly get used to the space!
