"Rocky Horror Picture Show" by Carnival Staff

Several years ago on a Cranival Cruise, the cruise staff led by the (then) Assistant Cruise Director had a midnight showing of the "Rocky Horror Picture Show". It was complete with throwing rice and screaming at the screen. It was the most fun we have had at night on Carnival. Does anyone know the name of that Assistant Cruise Director or if Carnival still does the showing?

We were on Glory a few yrs ago and there was a large Goth group on that cruise. I think that may have been the cruise you were on? I have been on 10 Carnival cruises and that is the only one that has ever done that showing. We had a great time at that showing. All the Goth people were in there and everyone was very actively participating along with the movie. I would love it if they would do this again.

I have never seen that on any Carnival Ship before. I would love it. As a teenager and in my 20s I would attend the midnight showing of the Rocky Picture Show. We toilet papered friend's houses after the show it was a so much fun.

Rhps

The "Rocky Horror Picture Show" was a regular feature on the Carnival Conquest for a few years when Todd W. was the cruise director. It was a success and was taken to a few other Carnival Cruise ships by the assistant CD's as they left the Conquest for other ships. I think it also helped Todd get noticed as a very good company CD as it did generate more drink sales. A Kiss on the Lips (get it?) was the official drink of the RHPS. Todd looked pretty good as Frank N Furter as well. ;)
