I have a co-worker who is going on the Triumph out of New Orleans. This is her (and family's) first cruise. I told her I would try to find out about hotels in N.O. that allow you to leave your vehicle while cruising. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

I checked fairly recently then ended up not going, but the Holiday Inn French Quarter and the Drury Inn both had cruise parking included in their rate.
Here are a few more- NOCVB
I just booked the Marriott Convention Center for our Triumph cruise in June...the link states 5 days of parking but it is actually for 8 days and the parking is valet, underground and secure. I was very happy. The Holiday Inn Superdome is nice too but it is an open self park garage and less secure. I've stayed with both hotels and they're both fine, but the Marriott is closer to attractions, including the cruise port and it has nicer bedding.
I just cruised on Triumph last month. We stayed at Super 8 @6322 Chef Menteur Hwy. Was about 6 miles from the port. The hotel is not super fancy but was clean, well kept up and staff was super nice. You can leave your car there and they have a van that comes there and will transport you to and from the port for 10 pp each way. There is no charge for parking here unlike some of the ones downtown. It was very affordable...about 53 for 2 people. BTW...we loved Triumph...can wait to book this ship again!

We just cruised Triumph out of NO last week. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Superdome, free parking for duration of the cruise as long as you stay the night before. Great location and parking in a garage. The hotel is older, but clean and they offer a free shuttle to many sights in NO, including French Quarter. They also offer a free shuttle to the ship the day of your cruise, but you have to take a cab back.

Going on our first cruise departing NO on Apr 3 to Bahamas on Triumph. Needed parking options, so thanks. Any thoughts on the Triumph and if the Bahama's route was a good choice?
Hello - going on Truimph departing Apr 3 to Bahama's - first time cruisers. Seen some bad reviews on Truimph and some good. Glad to hear you had a good time. We are excited.
