Default Carnival Dream

Were you happy with it, and would you cruise on the Dream again? I am just looking for feedback because I would love to know what experiences you all had before I book.

Thanks

Can't wait to go back. Went on the 2nd one that went out of PC and plan on going back within the year. The only thing I did not like was the long lines on Lido at lunch and breakfast..but that may be resolved now? I don't think there was enough people working some of the lines. The ship is beautiful. It is quite a bit of walking at times but that just helps with taking care of some extra calories consumed on a cruise.

I love the Dream - was on the ship for 28 days - and would do it all over again in a heartbeat...

Way too many pictures are here:

Very nice pictures Zydecocruiser.
Did anyone feel motion on the cruise? I felt some on the Ectasy but not to much on the Victory. Where is the best place to book a cabin to avoid sea sickness on the Dream?
thanks for all your information.

We were on the 9 day (first sailing out of Port Canaveral) and had a blast.

I would book it again in a heart beat.

The only time we experienced a longer than normal buffet wait was for the Mongolian Wok and that is because each dish is individually made....so a wait time for that is understandable...and sooo worth it!!

Zydecocruiser, glad you enjoyed the dream. I do have one question for you about the cove balcony rooms. my wife and I have been on 22 cruises and enjoy them alot. getting ready to book a nov. cruise on the dream and was wondering if you had a chance to see what a cove balcony really is.My wife is afraid that she won't be able to be sitting down on the balcony and look out into the ocean, any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance for any help.

Loved the Dream. On Dream Feb 6 to Feb 13. Lines were not long. Ship was not to big. Lots of things to do. Comedy Club was great. Casino was nice. Shows were good. Lunch buffets were great. Food in dining room was good not great.

We loved the Cove Balcony and have one booked for a Carnival Magic b2b.

Several times I would bring food from the Lido back to our cabin, sit on the balcony and enjoy the food and view. There is a ledge along the railing that also makes a convenient drink holder!

so glad to hear good reports on the Dream.
Not shocked. Carnival has clean and well taken
care of ships.
I my self have never had a problem with any
thing cruising with Carnival.
This trip makes my 14th cruise with them.
Going on the Dream may 22.

Any one else out there going in may?????

thanks
Sammy

Well I happy to say tonight I booked my next (and 2nd) cruise on the Dream. I look forward to it especially since I also was able to get one of the Cove balcony cabins. Just hope we have good weather..heard they will close off the balcony doors in the event of bad weather. I love all the variety on this ship.
