We sailed on the Boo cruise in Oct on The Sensation and the food was delicious in all areas from buffet to grill, & in the dining room.
Four months later my sister and I sailed together on her again Feb 7th but this time I could not believe some of the things we encountered. There was burnt over done food on alot of the buffet selections and in the dining room. I ordered veal one night and could not cut it. Selections that were there on the menu in Oct were deleated on this cruise.
Now I am a very easy person to please but alot of the food I picked to eat on the buffet & dining room were hard as a rock & I was unable to bite them. I had to wonder what the heck went wrong in four short months?
I asked the waiters and they answered that alot of people were asking why the food was so over cooked but they did not answer me why it happened on all four days.
Of course there were some great choices to go back and get like the Mongolian grill to make up for the burnt overdone food so I was fed well for four days but I still had to ask what was going on in the kitchen for them to over cook so much of what they were serving? Even the hamburger buns were toasted dark and over crispy. Other than that we had another great cruise.
That's really strange . Maybe the chef was told to be sure everything was well-cooked and he went overboard (pun intended!). I hope we don't run into this problem on our next cruise .
I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed your cruise, anyway!
