I don't know specifically about the Jr Suites. Once you have paid in full you can check your documents on-line. If your luggage tags say VIP on them, then you get to use the VIP Checkin. It's the only additional perk you get for booking a suite.
I don't know about the cabin, but we are sailing on the 19th also. We are in Louisiana and will be driving to Galveston, meeting up with our children. This will be our first family cruise. I have read some pretty good things about the Conquest and can hardly wait.
Its right at the front, next to a door out to a deck where people can walk, so the door will be slamming a lot. I was up there once and we did hear the door slamming. Some also said they thought more wind up front, not sure about that.
I did love the Lido deck though, so convenient.
Yep, with any suite you do get VIP boarding which isnt that great to me, as we already have it with platinum.
Thanks everyone for all the replies. I have decided to be cheap and got an inside on deck 9. Since I have two girls in college, i could not justify the extra 2000.00 just to by-pass a line. Since we are all out of the room more than in, this will be fine.
