Default Serenity deck on the dream and Trunk Bay St Johns

Traveling on the Dream 4/10 the serenity deck does look nice any opinion on it from past cruisers? Also, my TA recommends taking the ferry from St Thomas to Trunk Bay in St Johns is it worth the trip? Maybe Donald Trump will purchase it someday and change it to Trump Bay

Thumbs up

Your travel agent does not lie! St. Johns is a beautiful island in general and Trunk Bay in particular. Practically the whole island is a National Park so its very pristine-the last time we were there was about 8 years ago so I'm assuming it hasn't changed much. The beach at Trunk is awesome, there is an underwater snorkel trail that goes around a small island in the bay. If I remember correctly, the Red Hook Ferry was about a 20 minute drive from the cruise dock, the ferry ride is about 30 minutes and then another 15 minutes to Trunk. Well worth the trip-you won't be disappointed

I agree that St. Johns is wonderful! There are actually two ferrys that go there, one is at Red Hook as the post above mentioned. There's also one that goes from Charlotte Amalie (not too far from the cruise ship) to St. Johns as well. Of course the one that leaves from Charlotte Amalie takes longer to get there, but I know next time we go there we'll take the closer ferry at C.A. because traffic can be awful especially coming back to the ship later in the day. Last time we were there the drive to Red Hook took forever because there was a fire involving hazardous materials that closed down schools in the area and major arteries that are used to traverse the island. But even with the delays and shorter time there I was glad we went.
Here is the ferry schedule:

We have been to Trunk Bay, and we loved it. When we can we plan to go there again.
