Default Your best ever excursion!!

What excursion did you take, in what port, that made you say....if and when I come back here, I am doing this again!

For me, I would have to say Harrisons Cave in Barbados. If you had ever said to me, you will enjoy being in a cave I would have laughed, and said ya right!

Boy was I wrong, we really enjoyed it...and, I never get tired of doing a tour of any port...I love to see the lay of the land..but, the caves fo me would win best of...

Trip, with her book & tea!

So far the helicopter in Alaska rates pretty high on my list.

Close would be the Bar Hop in Cozumel.

I would say, so far, only having done:

glass bottom boat in Freeport (ugh, never again)!
Atlantis "Dig" Tour in nassau (would do again)
1-hr. torlley tour inKey West (definitely would do again!
Playa Mia beach break deluxe in Cozumel (the winner!)

,...that the beach in Cozumel was my favorite so far. it was a very warm but overcast day, so little chance of sunburn, but the water and sky were beautiful and I walked along the beach collecting dozens of little sea shells that I am looking at now, in a glass container. I have videos I took of the quiet part of the beach, and I can hear the sound of the waves as I watch them lap up on the shore, and every tie I look at the shells I'll remember how peaceful it was and what a relaxing cruise it was for me and my mom. It was so nice there, and quiet compared to being on the Lido deck with all the noise of the PA system on the ship - even with some noisy spring breakers.

I think our best excursion was a helicopter ride over Barbados. To say I grinned from ear to ear is an understatement! It was so beautiful and exciting.

Aruba...I rented a Jeep and drove from one end of the island to the other end.
The highlights were as follows:

Butterfly Farm
Arikok National Park
Baby Beach
"Tunnel of Love" Cave
California Lighthouse
Natural Bridge
Desert terrain

If you rent a vehicle beware of the wild goats that roam the island.

Playa Mia Beach Break Deluxe at Cozumel. What a great day of memories. Our waiter, Ariel, treated our group like royalty. Will do it again if we go back to Coz.

My families favorite would have to be Hartley's Helmet Diving in Bermuda but I see them on a few other cruises now. It was great. We even did our Christmas card under water in those silly helmets. We will never forget.

Whale watching in Juneau, Alaska! Just amazing ! They came so close a few times that the Captain of our boat had to back up to keep within the legal distance. We also saw sea lions, seals and incredible scenery.

Of the things we've done we really enjoyed renting the cabana at HMC. It was so relaxing and a great way to start the cruise.
My DH would say San Juan when we went off on our own to the fort and then stopped at a casino on the way back for 15 minutes and won $1000 bucks. That is his fave hands down....but doesn't really count as an excursion. Although the fort was fun.

Yes, Alaska is pretty awesome, loved the White Pass and whale watching with Capt. Larry.

Back to the Caribbean, snorkeling with sting rays in Grand Cayman, the America's Cup regatta in St. Maarten is high on the list.

Also the Canapy tour in Jamaica and swimming with the dolphins in Cozumel is great.
