What are your favorite drinks that you comsume on a typical cruise? My wife likes the "Miami Vice" and I perfer a "Kiss on the Lips". These are the usual types of "Adult Beverages" that we have. But of course we always have a "Drink of the Day". Some mornings my wife will have Champagne mixed with orange juice, Mimosa. What are some of the other drinks that you would drink?

I love a Pina Colada or a Bahama Mama occasionally. I usually try the daily special.

I seldom drink, but usually will enjoy a pina colada when on a cruise. Just refreshing, and it always reminds me that I'm "on a cruise".
The lovely Mrs. Jones (Vita) is FBI, (Full Blooded Italian) so she enjoys her wine while on a cruise. (and while NOT on a cruise) Once in a while she'll order a pina colada, or some other "foo foo" drink, but not often.
Wow, we must be related. My wife prefers Crowne Royal and I am a confirmed Maker's Mark guy. Once in a while on a really hot day after jungle trips and hot bus rides :-) we will enjoy a cool rum punch for my wife and a pina colada for myself. And once or twice at dinner we will have wine. We don't imbibe as much as we used to. Probably has something to do with being more mature ;-) but maybe just getting older.
and coffee. But I've never get a gut coffee there.
Why on hell they get only cheap coffee maschines.
Coffee is IMPORTANT !

with cheap coffee maschines !
I like to see any coctails on the bar, they looks so funny and interesting with different colours,
but I never drink that stuff - I am sure any alkohol is a poison.
As for me Coctails without alkohol (I am not sure there is any) is a poison too.

I drink gin & tonic on holiday & virtually at no other time, we also like things we don't have at home, like cocktails, not very "macho" but I like a Pina Colada now & again....
Mike, I'm not much of a drinker, but I will have to try a BBC - never heard of it, but it sure appeals to me!
I sometimes sample the drink of the day, as long as it doesn't contain mango (allergy).
I'm not sure if the ships sell it, but my favourite Island drink is the Bailey's Bushwacker, the best one being at the top of the Sky Ride in St. Thomas!
I would NOT recomend ANYONE who has acid Reflux to drink Mimosa! The juice will make AR act up BAD! I would just drink teh champaign straight and leave out the orange juice!
SINCE they say you can bring on wine I will be bringing some Wild Irish Rose. Its called wine but might as well be considered hard liquer!

I love good coffee very important. My favorite thing about Italy was the coffee (okay the gelato was great to). As a teenager I worked at an ice cream palor/coffee house. The is what started my coffee interest. Our hotel in Rome had a wonderful machine the made the best cappuccinos. It looked a bit like this machine.

My Favorite drink is a Pain in the Ass or aka Miami Vice. I would never order it on land but once I am on the boat it's one or two pain in the ass's or a Mojtio.

I enjoy a Sea Breeze for my foo-foo drink. I am not a fan of sweet drinks like Pina Colada's or BBC's (Bailey's Banana and Cream).
Venice:
This is the description I gave earlier in the thread. I don't think it would work as a non-alcoholic. (No Bailey's Irish Cream) It would just be banana and cream. Yuck
Take care,
Mike

Last week on the Dream, I purchased a chocolate milk shake from the specialty coffee venue and walked over to the bar in the casino and purchased a shot of Kahlua and mixed it into my milk shake, yum!!

I'm not much of a drinker, alcohol-wise. I also find the prices these days appauling! What a rip-off! The alcohol companies are laughing their asses off at drinkers all the way to their banki.
If I were someone that drank on more than the rare occasion, I'd most certainly buy my own. I occasionally have a glass of wine when out to dinner. So that's about once every couple of months. $5 a glass - really!! SO not worth it!
Alcohol companies have more to laugh about (more of a hold on people) then the health insurance companies. They are both benefiting by the stupid things people do or smoke or drink or eat.
1st cruise with son in 07: no alcohol.
2nd cruise last month with mom: 1 glass of red wine while we sat on the Promenade deck late one night and listened to a country/guitar performer.

It's a skill. Perverted elixir that has to be a great drink. Ah I'm so bummed I did a search for perverted elixir and nothing. I did find Lullaby for Satan (since he is in my suite) BarMeister.com: Cocktail Recipe: Lullaby for Satan
