Platinum Perks

If both cruisers (husband and wife) are Platinum do they both get the benefits i.e. two gifts, two trays of fruit, two casinos entries, etc. or is it by cabin? Just wondering what to expect. Our cruise on the Carnival Dream will be my 2nd as Platinum but my wife's 1st as Platinum. Just curious.

Logo gifts and free slot (or blackjack tournaments) are individual perks (so you get one EACH)

Canapes and petits are by cabin.

The Black Jack Tour. We will get two this year, but I don't play. My son will not get one. Will he be able to play with mine?

When I signed up for the slot tournament perk last cruise my name was checked against a roster. I don't know if you can substitute a name. Someone else might have that answer.

Yes, just go to the Casinos cage and they will hand you a "complimentary" card, give it to him and let him sign up....

there are no names on the "complimentary card" that they give you...

we have friends who don't gamble...so when we cruise together...they give us their cards and we use them....

Just off the Sensation last week. It was specified in the Platinum letter given on the first day that the logo gift was one per cabin. This was something new. I am not saying this is fleet wide just that they did it that way last week on the Sensation. Did not matter since the last thing I need is another picture frame. They also left only one ships pin.

I went to the Platinum Desk to complain and a handful of pins showed up in the cabin. Could have just been an error by the room steward ??? They did several things different on this 3 day cruise including having the old style Captains Party with free drinks and having dollar off drinks on the last day. That saved a ton of booze because most were off the ship for the first party and everyone was aboard for the last day.

Might have just been for that ship (or a 3 day cruise?). We just went on the Pride and received our obligatory 2 picture frames.

One time we got "one" logo item instead of 4....(that was about a year ago)...but since we already had a bizillion of them...I did not think anything about it....

It's going to be my first platinum member cruise, so no worries with the free gift for me

Now if only September can get here faster and I can find a psychic who can give me the winning lottery numbers, or perhaps Thursday's newspaper on a Wednesday so I can write down the right lotto numbers....
