Hotels near Miami Airport or Cruise port

Hi All,
Well, we've planned another cruise. This is on the Liberty sailing June 5 out of Port of Miami. We are arriving the night before our cruise and need a hotel for the night. Was going to book the hotel in the Miami airport, but wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with any other hotels???

We stayed at the Hyatt, I pricelined it and I got it last Dec for $69 dollars a night. It was in walking distance to the shopping center as well as the port. We rented a car and did some sicht seeing while in Miami but the hotel itself was great. I believe it was a 4 star on priceline. Hope that helps

There's a Holiday Inn very near the port you can see the harbor and ships from
there alot of people stay there. Across the street is a Biscayne market place with a
lot of shops and restaurants. It's on Biscayne street just 5-10 min. from the port.
