Had a wonderful time despite a few small bumps along the way. By far the worst part of cruising is the flying!!

Hi Luanne, the baby was amazing on the plane. I was worried and I went well prepared to deal with anything but she was really awesome. Our return flight day was heck on earth after we arrived at the airport at 4 am to find out that despite having a confirmation number, a bill for tickets and seat numbers we had no reservation and the flight was full. We ended up flying into another city two hours further south and taking a bus to finally get to our car. I was worried that we would end up flying at a time of the day that is typically difficult for her, but despite that she was a trooper and barely made a fuss at all. It was awesome it really was.

I remember so well those baby flying days. When Josh was 11 months old, I flew with him and my hubby from Germany to Texas. 11 hours total. I was 8 1/2 months pregnant with Joe. Yes I had my doctors note.
Josh jumped and slide off my belly for what seemed like thousands of miles.
He was saying weeeee and laughing. At one point a man walked by and said "I wish I could do that" and then blushed when he realized what he had said.
My DW and I also did that cruise, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent all around. The weather did turn nasty at HMC, but things like that happen, and we just rolled with it.
We didn't see many shows, but we did go to see the Legends show Saturday night. I think I prefer the talent shows we saw on Inspiration and Fascination because they let people showcase whatever it is they were good at. With Legends, I get the impression that they have "roles" they need to fill, and they audition people for them. The result was a few excellent performances and lots of others that ranged from the bad to the utterly awful. Still, it was fun to watch.

Wish I'd known we would be on the same cruise we could have at least met face to face : )
