Do you construct a " Cruise memory" Book after each cruise?
1 Attachment(s)
We always do. I like to take digital photographs and sometimes videos too. We normaly purchase the cruise album from one of the ships stores. Then when we return home, we buy more refills, ( I purchase the top loading clear type), and start incerting all of our cruise memories and photographs. It usually takes me days to print and edit all of our photos. I print six photos to an 81/2 "X 11" page. This makes it easier to incert the pages into the book.
Sometimes, I will print four photos per page. After a cruise, I will have taken on average, over 1200 photos. We also will place all of the formal photographs, other photos, receipts, airline ticket stubs, hotel and any thing that we have purchased on or for the cruise. On the back page, I usually will glue any foreign coins, ships coins or casino chips. Our memory book usually weighs approximately 15 to 20 pounds.

I'm not that clever.;) But one of the reasons I started my Cruise Blog was so that I could remember the individual cruises.:)

I too scrapbook our vacations, cruises and other types as well. We include everything from pictures to excursion receipts, to journal entries about the ship, the weather, whatever. My kids and I love going through these scapbooks, so many happy memories!

I don't do the cruise memory book. It sounds great however.:D I do put a photo gallery on this site and I entered a cruise ship review yesterday should be up in the reader reviews in about a week. I like that because I can't remember certain details after a couple of years and the review captures that information for me. :D

We do a slideshow with corresponding music, "burn" a cd and mail it to the relatives---whether they want it or not!! Actually, the grandkids look forward to them. We also send the pix to an online site, but just gazing at 150+ pix is REALLY much more interesting when it's accompanied by music. I already have the standby "Sea Cruise", and "North to Alaska" prepared for our Aug. Alaskan cruise------I'm awaiting delivery of an old Perry Como album in which he sings a song called "Seattle" , I've never heard it, but it's right for the slideshow!

sure do for my cabinmate;)...on the smooth jazz charters, i bring the latest cd of the artist (and download on an MP3 player), who will sign it and take a picture with her and place in her album..and then i arrange the album by day of the cruise and include the performance schedule and pictures of the nightly performances and jam sessions, plus most of the artist will have a special reception for their fan club members where i include those pictures ..also each cruise has an official cruise poster with the artist names on it, which all of the artist sign and the promoter sends each guest a thumb drive of all of the performances then i have the signed poster custom framed and placed in my great lady friend has the scrapbook, i have the framed poster, and we both have thumb drives

Sometimes when friends are interested we just put them on the TV and let run in background during the evening.

I have done a scrapbook on all of our cruises so far. We love to pull them out and remember over Sunday morning coffee. We have just booked our 7th cruise on the Dream in October and we will be pulling out the scrapbooks often just to build the anticipation of the next cruise. It usually takes me a couple of months to complete one once we are home, but I love it because it keeps me in the islands (so to speak) while I am working on it.

I also put together a scrapbook from any kind of trip we wake. I also usually end up with a photo album also. I take lots and lots of photos and there is not way I could make a scrapbook with all of them. For the scrapbook I just use special photos, add wording and embellishments to the pages. I have started on one from our last cruise but haven't really made much progress.

I scrap book all my vacations. we seem to sit and look at the pictures more since I have been doing that.
So easy to take to show others what they missed out on and how pretty
all the islands are.

Sailing on the Dream on May 22 7 days to go..
