Grand Suite on Carnival Conquest

We have booked the Grand Suite on the Carnival Conquest for our cruise. I will be traveling with 3 college kids. I called today and asked for a roll-a-way bed in the room, and they said the room was too small, I could not have one. Is this true? I thought this was the largest room on the boat? Any suggestions??

Carnival is not allowed to add a Cot on any ship built past 1999 (the Conquest came out in 2002).

This has nothing to do with the size....it is a US Maritime Regulation.

I would suggest also booking the interior cabin across the hall. They will get VIP check in with you since the cabins will be LINKED.

Great idea, thanks for the input. It would have saved a lot of frustration if they would have just said that, instead of the room is too small..
