Antigua-Sandal's

We are considering getting a Sandal's day pass on our port day in Antigua. We stayed at the Sandal's in Montego Bay, Jamaica 3 years ago and loved it. Has anyone done a Sandal's day pass while on a cruise? If so, how did you enjoy it?

Yes, I got a day pass to the Sandals Grande in Antigua on our Southern Caribbean in 2008. Basically you get to use the pool, unlimited drinks at the swim up bar, and one meal in a restaurant. It was very nice. I;m not sure the proceedure to get a day pass now, being a TA myself I just contacted my local Sandals sales rep here and she hooked me up with the day pass. You don't get a room or anything, just use of the public restroom with a shower in it to change. As I recall, the taxi fare was like $20 total for both ways.

Make sure you are in agreement with the taxi fare BEFORE you go. Some folks had a hard time there last year and supposedly it was over the fare. Just a head's up :-)
