Aft pictures of the Dream

We are not having a whole lot of luck finding some pictures showing the Aft on the Dream. Does anyone have a picture that they might have taken from another ship perhaps? We would love to see some. We have booked one for October, but would love to see the view from another ship or from a dock.

I have some shots of most sections of the ship amidst MANY others, I'm afraid! But, if you'd like to sort out the views you'd like----here is the site for our 2009 transcontinental crossing on the Dream.

Thank you so much! Those are exactly the kind of pictures we were looking for.
Now that we see them, we have a question. We are booked in an aft room on the Vista deck. It looks like it is very shaded and dark due to the overhang from the Lido deck. Could someone comment on this. Did you think your room was dreary or is it our imagination. Also did you find it loud, being under the lido deck? Are we worrying for nothing?

I have not been on dream yet, but I see and understand what you are seeing also. We have kinda wondered it too.

Alot of people would pry like a lil shade up there, because I do here a lot on complaints about how hot and no wind on the back. For me in all my Wrap experience that really doesnt bother me at all.

We were on deck 8, cabin 8448 on the Glory in April and we did hear some noise, but not a ton to bug us. It seemed on our cruise not alot of people were using those back tables on lido deck alot. But I will say this, you look onto the balcony from lido deck on the CQ class. So that lil lip overhang mite be nice up there.

Overall id say dont worry abit..you cant go wrong with a aft balcony!! to me atleast.

Thanks (NOBOBY)for the positive words. We have never had an Aft balcony before, so we are excited. It is good to know you enjoyed them too. I like the idea of no wind though. I found it annoying on a regular balcony. Thank you again for the awesome pictures. Couldn't have asked for any better.

Paul Motter June 8th, 2010 08:31 PM

I like aft cabins, too, the balconies are always larger than normal and the view is much wider than a regular balcony.

Your very welcome. I am obessed with the wraps. the no wind thing appeals to me also. You will here time and time again once your go wrap you never go back...it happen to me several cruises ago..LOL

here is a wrap from the Glory..we had it in April.

YouTube - Carnival Glory cabin 8448 aft wrap balcony.

If you have any other questions please ask away!

We are afraid this aft might spoil us for a regular balcony. The wrap looks even better. We do not have the wrap, just an aft in the middle. But it sure looks tempting. Love your Glory pictures. This is what is so great about this site and the people who love to share their photos. We are very grateful to you for sending them.
Thanks again.

She is a glorious boat. I would love to sail on her again!

mustang sally June 10th, 2010 05:35 AM

Looks like it is fresh in your memory. Any words of advice for us?

Dotte June 10th, 2010 03:25 PM

Nobody Special ~ Thanks so much for the pics of the aft of the Dream. Next April I will be the one standing on the balcony on the deck 6 aft wrap. Can't wait. Thanks again.
