Thoughts on the Fascination?

Any thoughts, good or bad, on the Fascination?

I sailed this this ship twice, but that was years ago..we were fascinated by the hollywood theme, but, I guess that theme is no more. Our first cruise was when the ship was finished early, & came over for a few short Boston to Canada cruises, before she headed south..Another time when was based in San Juan.

We thoroughy enjoyed our cruises, and I can bet you will as well

Like Trip. we sailed the Fascination twice years ago when it was based in San Juan doing 7 day cruises to the southern Caribbean.
I loved the mannequins and the Hollywood theme--there were" stars" all over-- Bogey and Lauren Bacall at the piano, James Dean and Marilyn Monroe at the bar, Edward G. Robinson in the Disco and who could forget Elvis and John Wayne--Rhett and Scarlet in the Library !
But as Trip says, since the ship has some age on it now and has been re-done I suppose they have removed all those mannequins, Hollywood designs,etc and replaced then with something else.
I really enjoyed our two cruises on that ship and that particluar class of ship has always been one of my favorites with Carnival--not too big--not to small.
I would think it would still be a great ship to cruise on.

My family and I sailed a five day-four day back to back on the Fascination last August (09). We had a great time. The food in the dining room was exellent and the service was fantastic. The kids love the camp carnival programs and we love the time we have together while the kids are there!

The Fascination was our first cruise so we have fond memories of it doing the Southern Caribbean. Absolutely hooked us on cruising! You will love it and be hooked on cruising like the rest of us. Let us know how you liked it!

Thanks guys!! We have been on a cruise before and loved it but never with the kids and this is the first time on the Fascination,,,,,haven't found many comments regarding this ship~!

Took a cruise on the this boat in Dec 06 and loved it. And that was before the refurbish. It was a really nice cruise to Mexico and Key West.
