Hard to sumarize this in the title of the thread, but basically we, and a couple of friends of ours are booked on Miracle for November 3rd, 2010 leaving Fort Lauderdale with stops in Grand Turk, Catalina Island, Aruba, and Curaco.
In a nutshell, this company is offering the EXACT same departure port, on the same ship, on the same date to ALL different ports?!?! How is this possible?
Maybe the link she sent me is from some sort of scam company, I don't know, but I wanted to get some feedback from the people here before I call Carnival. Carnival still lists our "Correct" cruise on their website too.
We mainly booked the cruise in the first place due to the ports. If the ports have changed, I am MUCH less interested in this cruise as there is one less port of call, and one of them is now a repeat. We try our best to see as many different places as possible, and we have succeeded up to this point, if these ports do NOT change.
Even if Carnival gives us an option to change cruises, we have already booked all the flights, and some of the hotels, and booked Disney and Universal Studios and THOSE hotels around this cruise.
I totally understand your disappointment, especially when you book for the ports, and they change them all Of course the big factors for you are all the arrangements you made around the cruise, and those are in place.
I think everyone would say the same thing, since there is no choice....make the best of it, and enjoy every minute..don't let this stand in your way....
I would call Carnival, and see why this has happened, just out of curiosity.
Please let us know,if you find out...they do have the right to do this, but the entire itinerary is a bit unusual.
Trip, with her book & tea!

Carnival's website still shows the original ports that we booked.
This second travel company is advertising the exact same cruise, dates, ship, and departure port, with different ports. I would hope that Carnival's site is the accurate one, not this "Other" site.
Again, I might just have to call Carnival to clarify this. Mostly curious if anyone has ever seen this before where they booked a cruise through Carnival, but found conflicting information about it through a third party website.
