My DH and I are leaving this Sat. on the Carnival Dream Western. We have booked the dolphin encounter. We were concerned about wheather or not they had changing facilities, and lockers to secure our cloths? Thank you in advance if you can answer this question.
Yes, you'll find lockers if you are going to Chankanab. Are you doing the swim or the encounter, two totally different expierences. I highly recommend the swim, what a gas!
They take a lot of pictures and a video. You may end up spending more than your excursion cost for them.
Yes, there are changing facilities and lockers available. They will also encourage you to spend the day at the park. It is a worthy experience if you don't have other plans after your Dolphin encounter is done.
Buses leave for the port about every half hour or you can catch a taxi at any time.
Just be prepared for how hot it is this time of year in Cozumel.
I am very proud to say I donated $$ to the organization trying to stop "dolphin encounters" in Cozumel.. These animals are captured cruelly and being used to entertain tourists..I beg you to change your mind..Dolphins are best at sea, not in a pen. I beg you to talk to the person at the kiosk at the terminal first.
