SPA deck on Conquest
Good Afteroon,
Has anyone stayed on the SPA deck on Conquest? Would you do it again? Thanks, |

If you're not planning on sleeping, they're wonderful! We were also close to the laundromat. We could hear people there talking in a "normal" voice. I really think that replacing (or adding) some kind of sound-proofing to these cabin doors would make everyone more comfortable! JMHO, |
I"m going on my first cruise this Sept. on the Carnival Triumph, and our cabin is on the bottom floor, front of the ship, and we're worried about noise/motion too.
My uncle, who's been on tons of cruises, told me that your location is nice, that the sound/vibration of the motor is relaxins, esp. at night. Have fun on your cruise! |
Hurry John... the riviera deck AFT (in the back)is pretty quiet on the Triumph try 4109 for an inside. I stayed there myself and it was very quiet. Riviera forward can get kind of noisy early in the morning when they drop anchor or dock. Also in rough seas when the waves crash and break against the bow it can be quite loud. The back is much quieter.
The Spa deck on the Triumph is the pits because you get all the noise from excited kids running back and forth to the kid's club and of course yelling and squealing and all that too. Some folks we met last week on the Triumph said the noise outside their Spa Deck cabin was absolutely horrible and I do not doubt it. Since the layout of the Triumph is like a scaled down version of the Conquest, I would advise the OP to study the deck plans carefully to ensure that they are as far away as possible from Camp Carnival as possible, especially if you are cruising during school breaks or holidays. The person who came up with putting Camp Carnival on the Spa deck and Club O2 above the Spa deck should have their head examined. I went to the spa to have a nice relaxing massage and it really was wonderful, except for the kids jumping, screaming and bouncing balls over head. |
Are there any (free) facilities in the spa area available for all guests??
My mother-in-law said the steam room/sauna/etc. were free but I thought that was only for people staying in the spa decks? |
It looks like Camp Carnival is on the floor above, but our room is on the floor below and down the hall. Nobody Special, did you have a problem with the camp noise? We are in room 1105.
Thanks, Kathy |

To my memory the main time we heard noise was from the lido deck music and it came only when people were opening and closeing the sliding glass door to the outside. we have stayed in cabins 1067..1069 and 1111. On a side note...I am lame but I loved the smell of being so close to the spa...best smelling deck by far! rofl :) |
Thanks for the info, I think we will really like the room. My daughter is on a college sports team and will really use the track and gym. I am so excited now..

the steam rooms are free to use.... my daughter used it last week on the Fantasy.

Steam rooms and saunia are free for everybody. Not reserved for spa cabins. Just give your SS card to desk clerk at spa enterance and they will give you a locker key to put your clothes. ALL FREE.
