Default Carnival pricing

Does Carnival ever reduce prices close to sailing date? I have been watching a couple of cruises and keep expecting CVL to have some one day sale or other, they way RCCL does, but all I see are no change in price or increased prices....
These cruises are in August, so the early saver deal doesn't apply.

I think the only time Carnival reduce's the fare is after final payment and then it's for new bookings only. Those who are already booked can't take advantage of this unless they've booked Early Saver (as you know).

I've never seen any "sale" prices, otherwise .

Keep watching. Sometimes about six weeks out it will dip if they get a lot of cancellations at final pmt time. Should be about right for your cruise. Of course if they don't then it may go up. It's all about supply & demand.

Sign up for the emails that Carnival sends out. I get a lot of one day sales from them. I also got a nice drop in price for my upcoming Liberty cruise.
