and the price they qoute is like $1600 for a suite, is that per person?

According to what I read on the carnival site, yes. That is price per person since it has the asterisk next to the price.

We have never been on the Dream, but we have had a suite on the Splendor and the Elation. We had two adults, a teenager, and a 7 year old. Plenty of room for 4. Hope this helps. My sister and her family went with us and they got and interior cabin with the same amount of people. Her cabin was like $1600 total and ours was like $3500 total. It really depends on what you want to spend your money on. There cabin was fine, ours was just big and we got VIP embarkation and debarkation. I would probably save the money next time with the kids and get a cheaper room. Like i said, just depends on what you want to spend it on.
