Default Question on Carnival Magic

we are wondering on the suites, has anyone here booked anything higher than the regular old junior suites?

are they worth the money? how much are they?

we're looking at nov-jan 2011 timeframe and the cheapest suites run anywhere from 1400 to 2000 there abouts.

There is a group on here who have begun booking cabins on the inaugural sailing from Galveston, including a cove balcony, but have not heard as yet about the suites.

Here is the info posted by Snoozeman on another thread here at CM....

" they are the balconies on main deck. Very low to the water. They are considered obstructed view, but that's because they are partially enclosed and have to have water proof doors in case of bad weather. Not great for sun I would think, but great for people who want to HEAR the water. They have them on the new Cunard ships, but this is the first Carnival class ship to have them. "
