Ok , we are now looking at the Glory for Jan 2012. Anyone sailed her in the past few years and if so what did you think??
Planning a cruise has been harder then pulling teeth. We want to go somewhere that we haven't been and trying to pick a date that works for all three of us. I think I found it with the Glory. Would love to hear a little about it. Thumbs up or down?? I want to get something booked!!!

I liked the Glory good shows, good bands, great comedians, good food, the Super club is amazing; and well worth the $30 extra save it for the last night. or 2nd to last, because you will be spoiled after eating there. The ship is nice our room steward did a great job. We did not like our first table mates who were very unfriendly we spoke to the Matre D and he changed our table to a big fun table with friendly people we are still in touch with. Over all had a great cruise.

We sailed on the Glory in 2007 and loved the ship. It took us several days to find out way around though. The layout can be confusing at first. Loved everything about it. Enjoy your cruise.

we travelled in august 2010 up to canada from new york loved the glory as we have travelled before on her [ 2004] food great, staff excellent, the shows are good . we enjoyed all the singers dotted around in the different areas on the ship. the weather was good so enjoyed the serenity area thought this was a big plus no problems loved the burrito bar. Hope this is helpful to you.
Hi, I am new to crusing and this will be me and my hubby first cruise. We were planning to sail Fantasy because of the dates that we needed, but I found that Glory will ship out of a closer port to our home. Which ship is better? what are the pros and cons to each ship?
Best food/Best Entertainment/Best pools ect....????
I have the choice of Fantasy in late July 2011 or Glory in May 2011 going to the Bahamas NEED HELP PLEASE!!!
It would be hard to compare the two. They are totally different class ships. The Fantasy is small and the Glory is big. I haven't been on the Fantasy but I have been on her sister ship The Elation and loved it. Since it is smaller you will have more ship motion than on the larger ship such as the Glory. The Fantasy only has one main dining room where the Glory has two. You might want to do a search on both ship on the Carnival site to compare the two. Have fun deciding!!

The Fantasy was my first cruise and we loved it. We did have a cat 12 and that was a huge reason why we loved the cruise. We also thought the food was very good. I think it's a great ship for a starter.
