Sandels resort

Has anyone went to the Sandels resort in Jamacia? Was thinking about going there when we dock in Montego Bay. Was it worth the money? Its our 20th anniv. that day and that came up on romantic excursions.

Our DD and DSIL went to the Sandals AI in Jamaica and were very pleased with it.

I did that once in St. Lucia, very nice way to spend a day. The resort welcomes the cruise passengers and includes them in the daily activities.

Well....we went to the one in St.Lucia, the Grande up near Pidgeon Island, & we didn't think a great deal of it really, seemed full of mostly young people drinking as much as possible.

I would recommend it. We took that excursion on our 20th Anniversary cruise in 2007 and enjoyed it. It's really safe if you are apprehensive about getting off the ship in Jamaica. You board a bus in the cruise terminal and get dropped off inside the resort.

Thanks so much for the imput. I went ahead and booked us for the Sandels excursion. I am sooo excited! Only 52 more days!!!!!!
