I have just heard of many passengers and crew sick on the Carnival Glory out of New York City. As of Oct 18th. I found this information on "Events at sea 2010". We were planning to sail Nov 7th on this ship from Miami. I have not booked yet but if anyone finds out more information please let me know. Thanks Ed
From the site quoted..."A reader writes: My parents just returned Saturday on the Carnival Glory. My mom has been telling me stories of all the sick passengers and crew. I also saw a posting on the Carnival forums. She said almost everyone they spoke with had family members sick. Crew staffing was way down. She said the line at the infirmary was long, and they were giving free iv’s, anti-nausea, and were "quarantining people to their rooms. Very interested to see how the cruise headed out this week goes – I am sure the boarding passengers are not aware."
I found no reports of noro on Glory in the Carnival forums for the timeframe mentioned. That is to say, on the forums at carnival.com. There is no way to trace or identify the validity of the report on Events at sea 2010 as it says "A reader writes".

20 years ago we had Johnny Cash, Bob Hope and Steve Jobs. Now we have no Cash, no Hope and no Jobs. Please don't let Kevin Bacon die.
Yeah, I have been sick since Thursday. The CDC website says it's only supposed to last 2 days but I'm still sick. I don't know if it's a particularly strong strand but I am ready for this thing to be done. I know alot of people were quarantined on the ship for having symptoms.
