Default Anybody sail over New Years before?

Just wondering what Carnival does if anything for New Years eve. For the money you pay you would think that something extra is involved. Who has sailed it before and what can I expect? I am doing the Splendor.

We did Christmas several years ago. This year were paying the price to try New Years. Only thing we know about is New Years eve party on the Ledo deck with the Big screen with times sq. Some drinks are free, with hats and whatever. seems each ship does it different, like everything else.

I've sailed on New Year's cruises several times. In my view it's the most fun night ever to be on a ship.

Everyone is out of their cabins, and there is a party going on in ever public area, and a big deck party to welcome the new year.

GREAT fun! Suggest keeping clothing on until you return to your cabin
