Carnival Spirit

Just spent 5 days aboard the Carnival Spirit and I have to say I was quite impressed. Everything was really nice. The ship is a bit older but looks grand. The food was delicious, most of the crew were really friendly (there's always one cranky one), the shows were entertaining and the ports (Cabo and Ensenada) were enjoyable. In Cabo we created our own excursion to Monkey Business Bar (best margarita ever) and in Ensenada we went of the Wine Country shore excursion. It was really interesting and we totally enjoyed it. I highly recommend this shore excursion. I think a vacation is a lot what you make it. You have to have the right attitude and you have to have patience with other travelers. The only thing I really hated about our cruise was that I had to come home to laundry, cooking and making my own bed!

I will be on the same cruise Nov 12 with Blueliner. Should be fun. Did this trip about a year and a half ago and it was great. The 8 day trip to Acapulco, Itxtapa and Manzanillo is a nice change from the usual ports of PV, Mazatlan and Cabo. Cant wait...

We went on the 8 day itinerary last year, and had such a good time we are set to go on the new 9 day next January.

I guess if we didn't have a good time, we would not be right back in line at the B Street Pier in San Diego!

87 days to go... but whose counting!
