Default Is there a Tampa hotel with airport and cruise port shuttle?

Is there a hotel in Tampa that provides both airport shuttle and cruise port shuttle service? Would it be easier to take a cab? Thanks!

We just found one....as we are leaving next weekend (Oct. 31).

Holiday Inn Express, Rocky Point. Complimentary airport and cruise port shuttle if you get their "cruise package". The cruise package just bumps up the price $5 from the nightly rate....so for 4 of us to get to the port, it will cost us $5. Beats a $20-30 cab ride.

Hope this helps you....I asked the same question before and nobody had any suggestions.

Actually, there are several that I know of, including, but not limited to the following:

Holiday Inn Express - Rocky Point
Hampton Inn Tampa/Ybor City
LaQuinta - West Spruce Street
Tahitian Inn - South Dale Mabry (Probably the least expensive, and recently renovated)

Have a GREAT cruise.

We are also staying at HI Rocky Point but the difference between the regular rate and cruise package was $60 for four of us so we are just going to take a cab to the port and back (we are also staying there a night post cruise). A cab will be approximately $25 and we will be able to leave when we want to and not have to depend on the shuttle schedule.

Not sure if you guys get TravelZoo, but they just advertised a great deal at the Intercontinental Tampa. $79 per night....which is 50% off. They don't have a shuttle to the port, but it's only 6 miles.

The strange thing with this deal is it's $79 on weekends and $109 mid-week?? Usually the other way around, but a great deal nonetheless.

Firster.....what was your per night rate for the cruise package?

I'm sailing out on the Legend this weekende (Wahoo - October 31. )

The Hamptonn Inn - Airport location has a Stay, Park, and Cruise/Stay Park and Go package that will allow you to leave your car in their lot for up to 14 days, one night in the hotel, and offers free shuttle service to and from the Port, as well as to and from the Airport; for $99.00 a night.

I'm quite sure Hampton Inn/Ybor has the same deal,,,and I think you can actually see the ship from that hotel. VERY close to the port.

Awesome. We are staying in the Westshore one. I'll keep the Ybor one in mind for next year though, because I'm already planning for next year. lol.

Also - for everyone - I went to http://www.Stay123.com and that is how I found my hotel.

$139 for four of us - $119/night plus $10 for each person over 8 years old (I think that was the age quoted). Actually it is $50 more than we paid - I thought our AAA rate was $80 but it is $89, but still think we are better off to take a taxi each way for $25 so that we can go to the port when we choose.
