Paul, what a wonderful interview. Everybody knows that the media is always looking for the worst. But just maybe this time there isn't a "worst" and media coverage will be so silly and untrue we can all have a good laugh. After 30 years with the Navy I can tell you that a lot goes on that folks never hear about. I am sure it was mighty good to see the troops arrive. Thanks for the post.

This sort of reminds me of the blackout that occurred in NYC in the 60's .People were stranded in Manhattan and could not get to other areas of the city or the suburbs for more than 12 hours and then only sparingly .It was total darkness .

John Heald, I remember him, I think he was on Triumph back in 2000.
My family haven't cruised since 2002 but can't wait to go on next one Feb 11 on Pride.
