Default Sofa beds? on Glory

I booked a Cat 1A on the Glory Dec 5th 2010 for 329 per person. Our stateroom is not upper and lower bunk beds but a twin and a sofa bed.
I just wanted to know if anyone has slept on a sofa bed? Are they comfortable? Thanks please let me know. Ed

Yes sofa beds are comfortable. I would suggest you to buy one.

They are harder than a regular mattress. If you like sleeping on a firm bed you wouldnt mind them. They just take off the pillows on the back at night and its a bed.

One of us in our group get the sofa sleeper, last time it was me. I was dreading it because I'm a troubled sleeper already. We flew in the day before so I went to target and bought a cheap egg crate pad and added it to the sleeper, I'm so glad I did because to me it was just hard. The pad was worth the $20.00 as it did make me more comfortable. I would get the full and try to double it up .

The sofa bed is quite comfortable as I prefer a very firm mattress. There is no need to buy an egg crate mattress topper, you can request one before your cruise which Carnival will supply. Just keep in mind that it is not the traditional pullout sofa bed. They just remove the bolsters and make the bed.
