Default What's your favorite Carnival Ship?

Given a free boarding pass, which Carnival ship would you choose?

And why is that your favorite ship?

I loved the Splendor out of all the Carny ships I've been on. I loved the pink interior and the layout of the ship was great. The pool area was also a hot spot for me. I'd sail on her again anytime!!

Well I've only beenon 4 Carnival cruises all different ships so don't have a favorite. But this last cruise was the Liberty and have to same interior was much nicer than the others so with going by that alone I would say the Liberty.

Default Carnival sensation

It was our first cruise ever and can't forget the moment we get on board.
The feeling was so great it was just like a return too i don't know. the cruise director was the only one who makes you feeling rich and give every one hope, joy, and freindship for ever. It was the first cruise (innaguration from carnival sensation) and not our last. We had a insite cabin but with plenty of room. It was our 12 1/2 weddingsday, and also thanks givingsday that cruise. My wife was getting ill that cruise but when we finnisht the cruise we promissed we came back for 25 anniversery as well and so we did ony on the carnival destiney. It was also good, but the first cruise stay in our mind for ever. We gonne make next summer a b2b cruise for the first time on the carnival freedom and make the first as the same we did on carnival sensation so i think when we climed the Dunner rver falls again i let a tear on that special moment back in 1993.

Arie Plugge i loved Carnival cruises for ever

Any Carnival Ship, I think every Carnival Cruise I take, my wife and I find a way to make it better than the one before.

So far I have only been on two. My first was Fantasy and second the Inspiration. Out of these two I would have to say Fantasy. I think it was because it was my first cruise and it had the WOW factor of the first time. We sail Freedom next year, I looking forward to sailing a different class of ship.

Well, Kuki, for strictly sentimental reasons, it would have to be the Fascination, where I met my wonderful husband, Jose, in 1995. I'd say that would have to be my favorite cruise souvenier of all times!

We really like the Spirit class ships. Just big enough and also just small enough. The 1st cruise was on the Jubilee way back when and then the Spirit and then 12 more on everything else Carnival has. But we do like the Spirit.

Probably the Victory because it was our first Carnival cruise. Cruising the Freedom in a few weeks and from what I hear, it may take the cake!:-D

I'd have to say Ecstacy but only if we could back in time to the early 90s when she was new and there were no cutbacks in quality.

Carnival Ecstasy! The ship has been awarded the Crystal Eagle many times for customer service and in my opinion it is well deserved.

Give me a chance and I will be on the Ecstasy.

Having sailed them all ( I just love saying that..... )

my favorite is the Splendor.

I love the fact that the entire Lido (outside and indoors) is nonsmoking.

They have SPA cabins (love Cloud 9) and the roof can be closed if it is raining!!!

I would say the Carnival Miracle. Then I could say I have sailed on all of the Spirit Class ships.

Take care,
Mike

Default RE: What's your favorite Carnival Ship?

Not a big cruise tour fan, but I definitely appreciated my time at the Miracle. I treated my family to an 8-night Southern Caribbean Cruise. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and service of the crew. In particular, they took good care of my father who had a cane with him. They accommodated him all throughout the trip and made sure he had a great time there.

Just back from the Carnival Miracle and I must say between it, the Valor, Triumph and Holiday, the Miracle wins hands down. I loved the decor and the lay out of the ship! The smaller population was nice too!

Now that is a hard question.

Have been on a few cruises but would love to do the Europe ones. Looking at 2012 but the airfares is more expenses then the 12 day Greek Cruise.

The ship is one thing...but the "experience" has to do with staff and fellow passengers.

One group of passengers from a certain embarkation city (lots of locals), has left me not wanting to depart from there again.

As for staff, the main dining room waiter I had on the Conquest (named Ilhan) was phenomenal. He entertained my boys (5 & 7) with paper origami and lots of napkin animals. He also brought me extra lobsters w/o my asking and pretented he snucked it for me. On nights when DW and I had trouble deciding from too many good dishes, he took notice and brought several dishes out that we talked about but didn't order...again w/o my asking. Same goes for dessert. Needless to say, we tip him and his assistant lots of extra. Over a year later, my kids still remember his name and talk about him when we bring up that cruise.

The Carnival Pride love the Spirit class ships, thought the decor was beautiful, love the aft pool area and the way the pool is not set down into the decks like they are on the Conquest class ships. Much easier to get around you don't have to go up and down decks due to the dining rooms like you do on the Conquest class also.

In the past, I'd have said "Miracle", but after our last cruise aboard her, the entertainment just didn't make the grade. (It'll be O.K. after a change of C.D.) Now, I'd have to say "Legend". We too, love the Spirit Class ships. Conquest Class ships are excellent too, and I love "Valor", and "Glory", but I'll normally pick the Spirit Class if there is a choice.

The Carnival Conquest and Carnival Ecstacy until November, then it will be the Carnival Magic and Carnival Triumph. Reason: home port.

Default Hard to choose but..

I would have to say the Dream. We loved the layout of the ship, the comedy shows..so many and on so many nights. I love the Cove balcony. With the Cove balcony you are right over the water..of course it is a gamble in that if the water gets too rough they will seal your balcony door and you will lose use of the balcony until water is calmer again. I cant say I would ever want to be on a ship larger than the Dream because there is quite a bit of walking to get from one thing to the other. The hot tubs that hang over the side of the decks is really nice also. The second choice is Triumph and third is Fantasy. We have enjoyed all our Carnival cruises and are looking forward to getting onboard Elation for the first time in a few days!

I've only been on one Carnival ship, the Imagination, but I did enjoy it. I've sailed on a Spirit class ship as well (Costa Atlantica), and wouldn't mind seeing how Carnival does it. I like the size of the Spirit class ships, and on the Atlantica, I liked that the embarkation deck was closer to the water. It felt odd seeing lifeboats so high on the Imagination.

Spirit and Pride for their ease of navigation and size. Not too crowded. Loved the decor on both of these ships.
Loved the Glory because I took Patty with me on that cruise. It was so much fun to see her joy. The colorful decor was cheerful.
The Liberty I sailed twice and loved it. Fascinated by the huge atrium chandelier.
Celebration I did twice and loved that ship, wish she was still here.
Sensation, my most recent cruise was fun but way too short. So purple.
Mardi Gras, Second cruise and I was still awestruck!!
Festivale, first cruise waaaaaaaaaay back in 1983. This is the ship where I got hooked. So many changes from those days. She will be forever the favorite ship for me.
I guess for me there is something special about every ship I sail on.
