Default What's your favorite thing about Carnival

What's makes Carnival your line of choice....

I think the prices do matter quite a lot, I see that mentioned all the time in these forums. Other than prices, their food is pretty darn good and the entertainment is good as well.

Prices, destinations, outstanding crew, great ships.. But for us, living in Florida, the quick access to all the ports make it easy for us to cruise!

You can go whale watching just by observing the breakfast buffet.

Now Now Mark--no need to go bashing us " jelly bellys " --we have to eat to keep the belly quite !!

Seriously, Carnival isn't necessarily my favorite line but it's hard to beat for a number of reasons:
Value received for money spent in a variety of areas, such as very good food, good entertainment, they go most anywhere you could want to go in the Caribbean, the cabins are roomy, and generally the service is as good as any reasonable person could expect on a large ship. And too, they have the best pizza afloat ! Plus, the Platinum perks are good, such as priority boarding and disembarkation, etc.

The night life! We like to enjoy every minute of the cruise and that includes staying up late. With the Disco, piano bar, late night comedy, and of course the 24 hour pizza...we have never been disappointed.

Kuki,

Since I work in the construction industry (we manufacture windows) the last couple of years have hit our household income level very very hard, and only because of the reasonable prices afforded by Carnival have we been able to cruise at all.

We have always loved their generous cabin sizes.

The food is very good.

The entertainment options are varied and good.

Since Jose worked so many years for Carnival, he still runs into former coworkers and friends onboard and that makes the experience just that much more enjoyable for him.

Carnival is one of the few lines now cruising in the Caribbean during the months Jose is allowed to take his vacation: June, July, August and September. The others are all off in Alaska, Canada & New England, and Europe during those months. We like all those itineraries as well, but if we DO want to go to the Caribbean, Carnival is almost our only choice.

Having achieved Platinum status, we now enjoy those little extra perks as well.

We are by no means dyed in the wool Carnival devotees who will never consider another line, but we do seem to turn to them more often than other lines for the reasons mentioned above.

I obviously agree with all the above posters about why Carnival is so great but I think one very key reason is missing imo......I think the overall cruiser ATTITUDE is far better on Carnival than any other cruise line that I've cruised (all major lines except HM). You hear so much less petty bickering and complaining. Regardless if you 7 or 70, Carnival cruisers come to enjoy there vacation with usually great attitudes!:-D

After being platinium with Carnival now for awhile, I hate to start at the bottom of the totom pole with another line because I know what Carnival gives - and the value for the money just is hard to beat!

Default Value

Carnival value is hard to beat, good prices on balcony rooms, food is good and entertainment.
Cruise gives very good package price to start with (travel ports, room, food, entertainment etc.) and Carnival is better in overall value.
