Default What to do in Belize

Looking for something to do in Belize... is there anything to do besides cave tubing? We aren't dead set against it, but just wondered if there are any other fun options. We are going at the beginning of March.
Thanks for any suggestions!

We took the cruise tour to Xanatauch Myan Ruins. The tour lasts most of the time there but if you are interested in things like that I highly reccommend it.

I once did a snorkeling tour there. They had picked us up at the ship, so no need to take the tender into port. They took us to Goeff's cay, very tiny island, but with some great snorkeling. It was a nice boat ride out there and they then returned to the ship...

Thanks all! Goff's Caye snorkeling sounds wonderful to me. Is there a specific company you used?

I like snorkeling and shark ray alley there.

Here are some of the things we have done there, including Goff's:

Hi Bgrow,
When we went to Goeff's Cay, we had to book through the cruiseline. They came right to the ship to pick us up and drop off.

Default Belize Excursions

If you dont'want to do cave tubing the two things that I would recommend are Goff's Caye as recommended earlier Goff's Caye Beach Break and Snorkeling ..Its a beautiful little island but bring a towel as they don't have chairs. Its very rustic but so beautiful

We also LOVED Lamanai, it was two years ago we did that tour but we saw crocodiles and howler monkeys in addition to the ruins, which was amazing. Lamanai Mayan Ruins

Good luck with your choice

Thanks everyone! We had planned to go cave tubing, but were told by many people that Feb is "dry season" in Belize, and it just would not be as fun this time of year. Guess we'll have to plan another cruise for the summer months! :-D
